came in in the 9th with a guy on 3rd and 1st and struck the batter out. this might be the start of him closing again...

You beat me to it. I'm pretty sure he will start closing now. Tosca said he was going to ease him into it, and I guess now he's eased in.

The best part of the save, especially for those in point leagues with inning limits, is that he did it in 0.1 innings. Gotta love it.

Toronto will win plenty of games and Politte was pitching hurt before. If you've got someone to drop, then go ahead and get him.

I would definitely drop Mesa for Politte. I think Politte's injury was causing some of his struggles earlier in the season. And Mesa may have (at the very least for the short term) lost his closer job.
