agreed. heck i'll probably start him because he can't be much worse then my round robin replacements have been over the past 2 months... blech! :-P

I talked to my wife (who's also a medical transcriptionist that does a lot of work with orthopedic reports) and she said that while he might have some slight issues with grip strength for a few weeks he should be fine medically.

So basically I'd say it's all a matter of how much rust he's got right now. I think he'd be an outstanding guy to buy low on if he comes back and puts up about 3 or 4 bad days in a row. He's been out for awhile and guys in that situation usually take a week or two to get back their timing. You might be able to buy him a bit lower than normal based on fears that he might still be suffering from injury issues but I'd say you're safe to assume any struggles are just rust.

By the way, he went 1/4 with an RBI tonight. He's eyeing a Monday return.

Lee will be in the starting lineup tomorrow vs. the Twins. Just called back off his rehab assignment because of the injuries to Freddy Bynum and Tony Womack.
