Scot Shields starting today.
Jimmy Gobble making his debut.
Thurman having just pitched a gem.
There was a reason I traded away my pitching staff for offense. It's guys like these that come up every once in a while. There's bound to be a worthy canidate out there.
I'm excited to see how these pitchers do today and for the rest of the season.

You betcha.....I'm watching Gobble pitch.....4 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, 0 W, 3 K. He looks real composed...dare I say much like Harden when I saw his debut.

Shields? Isn't he usually a reliever?
I though Josh Hall pitched pretty well yesterday in his debut for the Reds!

Here's the final on Gobble...6.0 IP, 6 H, 1 BB, 0 ER, 3 K. A very nice outing.....Royals lead 2-0 so he's in line for the W as well.
