360 recommendations?

I just bought a 360 about 3 days ago, it's pretty sweet. I rented Call of Duty 2, which is a lot of fun. For you other 360 owners, what are some of the games you guys enjoy? I plan on setting Xbox Live here soon, what are the great online games? Also, any other tidbits you wanna share with me to make me even happier I bought it are welcome as well (upcoming games etc.).

I own Call of duty and Oblivion. You should check out oblivion if you haven't yet. I'm going to get Splinter Cell 4 and Halo 3 when they come out. Other than that, I don't see myself getting too many games.

Download Uno off of XBox Live Marketplace. Its like $5 and is a great time. It doesnt sound like fun, but its pretty cuthroat

I downloaded Zuma for my wife. Now I hardly get a chance to play anything.

As far as I can remember, I liked Oblivion a lot.

Welcome to the world of the 360!

Good to see you're getting Live. Its just a must for the 360. I'd also get the rechargeable battery pack. I have it and it works great, saves hassle too. (instead of having to replace the battery you just plug it into your 360 and it charges).

The best part, games! Here's my collection:
Oblivion (a must have for any 360 gamer)
MLB 2K6 (pretty fun, good online play with great leagues and tournaments)
Perfect Dark Zero (great game online)
Battlefield 2 (I just bought this game actually, so don't have much of an opinion on it... seems cool though)
Call of Duty 2 (good SP and good multiplayer now that they've fixed the lag issues! coming out with a ton of new maps soon)
Dead or Alive 4 (kind of a waste for me as I don't think its that good, but its one of those fighting type games like Mortal Combat)
Madden 06 (I'm going to get rid of it soon since 07 should be out soon, but this was a pretty pathetic game missing basic features)
Hitman Blood Money (don't know if you've played the Hitman series, but this game is great and I love all the features it has)

You have a lot of options for games. Just choose what you like, but I'd recommend Oblivion, PDZ, and MLB 2K6 for sure.

These are what I have, and some suggestions:
Call of Duty 2 - Very good game, although if you beat singleplayer while you rent it, I don't know if I'd go out and buy it. Multiplayer has some issues.
Burnout Revenge - Awesome racing game. Great graphics, great online play...a bunch of game modes so it doesn't get too boring.
MLB 2K6 - Considering it's the only baseball game, it's still a must have if you're a baseball gamer. I liked MVP better, but it's still pretty fun.
Madden 2006 - Very good game, although very stripped down. Wait for '07 if you want a football game.
Tony Hawk's American Wasteland - Graphics are the same as original XBOX. Waste of money. The new Tony Hawks looks very awesome though.

Suggestions:
Battlefield: Modern Combat - I downloaded the demo, and it's pretty sick online. I might get it pretty soon.

There's demos available for most of the games, so if you want to try something, download the demo and see for yourself. That's the best advice I can give.

NBA Live 06 - like many other 06 sports games such as Madden was rushed.

Call of Duty 2- great game

Hitman Bloodmoney: another great game.

oblivion - want to play it many people say its a good one
