good post wrveres, cintron was a hot pickup right after being called up because he was showing some serious power, but since has fallen off people's radar due to the position dilemma for the dback IF and the subsequent lack of power, but he is going to be the everyday SS and hitting 2nd with his discipline puts him in line for scoring bundles of runs, and when he hits later in the lineup he;'ll have better RBI opps. a good pickup if you need to plug in a 2b/SS/3b.

I cut him loose when Kent came back. Hmm, maybe I can find a roster spot for him :-? I sure do like it that he's only k'd 16 times.

IMO, for real (not fantasy) baseball, true maturity by a young player is a great batting eye. because anyone can have natural power, but if you can make contact and not swing at the outside pitches, you will be a good player. cintron is very mature for a 24-year-old callup.

however, despite only 16 K's, he also has only 18 walks. so basically, he's been swinging and hitting. hell, i'll take it.

He had a horrible game defensively last night but became the game winner by hitting a homer in the 9th....So, he's a keeper for sure!
