I like the whole double play 6-4-3 theme, you picked some nice pics to use it really looks like they are turning a DP. I'm not sure I like the white jerseys on a primarily white background though and I can't say I'm a fan of the text.

Great concept, but I don't think the bg is cutting it. I actually think a very simple white bg w/ a braves logo on very light opacity would be fine. But then you'd have to add a slight drop shadow to the players because, like you said, the white on white doesn't look so hot.
