Like cmon.... Jason freeking Varitek starting catcher?
Cano being in there is much worse than Varitek.
Not this season.
Cano's hitting pretty darn well.
Anyways they need to do something about this rediculous bias.
NY has like 8 million people.
Boston ain't small either.
its just not fair
Id be fine with it if it didn't decide who would get home field advantage in the world series. If it didn't decide it, then i wouldn't care about who played and it would be a pointless yet entertaining game.
Also its ridiculous that Miguel Cabrera isnt even in the top 5 for NL 3b.
The Mets will win the World Series this year.

The rest aren't that bad though, as Matthias said.
Agreed. VDub should be the starting CFer imho. I'd personally start Tejada over Jeter, he's having the better year, but both deserve to go.
Cano is just sneaking through becuase in the absence of any big-name second basemen having good years. Imho of the top five votegetters at second, only Iguchi deserves it. COME ON PEOPLE VOTE GRUDZIELANEK!

I hope thats a joke.
Cano has a worse OPS than Varitek whilst playing a less demanding position. Why would it be a joke? There may be 8 AL catchers with better numbers than Varitek, but then there are six second basemen better than Cano.

I hope you asking if it was a joke, was a joke.
Don't try and compare individual numbers first of all, because that's pointless. It's based on position.
There are a lot more deserving 2B than there are deserving C. Varitek is still one of the best catchers, despite not doing well this year. Cano is not a top 2B, nor has he ever.

yea, that's because the marlins have about 21 fans
