Is he the BIGGEST bust this year? Man he was awesome last year and I was so happy to get him in the late 6th round in my 12 team mixed league.

All he does is STRIKEOUT and hit a homerun every couple weeks.

ughhhhhh

*I tried to complain in the "venting" section but they deleted my thread because I guess theres no venting allowed allowed anymore, only game commentary....lame :-P

so my player update is that sexson sucks and he's killing my chances this year :-t

I agree. WTF happened? I mean, I know he is Sexon, so he kind of sucks anyway...but him and Glaus carried my team last year a lot.

You cannot say he sucks and that he carried your team last year at the same time. However I would have to agree with the above poster that I was excited to get him for my utility spot late in the draft. I don't think he sucks, but he could be done as far as fantasy baseball goes. Only time will tell. Even worse I drafted Felix Harnandez and BIg Tex.

i got him in a trade a week into fantasy baseball: Crawford and Sexson for C. Lee. I planned on starting him all year, but now I'm using Overbay (at least until D. Lee can play)

He has now been moved down in the lineup and even downgraded horribly in yahoo's ranking system to basically a scrub. Now he is saying he has some heel injury that is lingering. I'm about over it by now. He is indeed killing my chances this year as well as most people who took him thinking he would fill an everyday spot.

Any thoughts on him coming back around?

I just offered Marcus Giles for him. (Giles has been sucking too this year)... I mean Sexson has to get hot sometime, right?

I picked him up after someone dropped him, thinking he will be a second half stash for now.

But man, I am starting to get my doubts. How can someone that hit 40 HRs and over 120 rbi's just simply forget how to hit...

maybe he was on 'roids? :-? Na...

He's got an injured heel for one thing.. .

Sexson has averaged 40 homers and 120 RBIs his last four healthy seasons. He's a stud when he's healthy and locked in- remember how hot he was the first week of the season?? He ain't getting no 40 dingers and 120 ribbies this season, but he will be blisteringly hot at some point. Drop him at your own peril.
