question.....why think about winning in the future when you can win now with Steinbrenner at GM........ I don't know if any of you are familiar with hockey but the New York Rangers had the highest payroll in the league for 7 years and didn't make the playoffs which was a gigantic problem........ BUT STEINBRENNER AND THE YANKS, who yes, have had the highest payroll with overpriced veterans who are well passed their prime, somehow have made the playoffs every year since 1995. There is nothing wrong with winning now if you actualyl win now. Too be honest I feel like Yankee fans have been spoiled inthe last 10 years, knowing that this dominance can not last forever

Heh. I also love how the first post Blankman did in the Leftovers section was the day that the Yankees tied for first in the division. Yankees fans: always ready to talk big when they can lord things over everybody, first to crawl into their corner when things aren't going so hot.

Try second day after coming back from California and college.

Good job on the personal attacks. :-t :-t :-t :-t :-t :-t :-t

But the Rangers didn't DOUBLE everyone else's pay roll. The Yankees can basically get ANY player they want. And they still haven't won since 2000. Which I thik is great.

BTW, The streak end sthis year. Yanks WILL NOT make the playoffs. Can''t make the playoffs if they finish 3rd in their own division.
Barry Bonds for US president.

Please keep this on topic. There is no need for stereotyping and personal references.

I never said that. You are 1 of the biggest stereotypers in this thread to be honest with you.
