Jason Botts...the cafe sleeper???

I have not seen much about this guy on the cafe. I looked up his projections on ESPN-they are projecting a .400 avg., 29hr., big rbi's.

Word is that Nevin is done, and Botts gets the DH job.

What do you folks think?

the projections on espn don't really mean much...they are based completely on the pace that he is on right now, he is actually on pace to hit 28.5 Hr's and 85.5 RBI's they just rounded up...i'm not saying that he won't be good i'm just saying you should give him time before you seriously consider getting him

i dont expect him to hit .400 but given consistent ab's 20-25hrs isnt out of the realm of possibilities.

id probably put his production on part with what morales might do.

i wouldnt go dropping anyone solid for him just yet...but i think he will produce...but ive also been a fan of the guys for few years
