New OOTP Comes Out Tomorrow; On Mac, Too!!!

As a Mac owner, I am pumped. I never get games I like on the first issue. I usually have to wait forever (see Civ IV).

I like how they list Mac first on the pre order list, too!

I'd consider when they drop it to $15, but I've been burned by OOTP to many times with their recent efforts to dump another $35 to that crew.

I guess I got my hopes up too much:

My current thinking is that the Mac version will actually be released on 6/7/2006 (to tie in with the section "Patches" on this thread http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=119573)

The reasons would be:-

- The contracts are agreed, signed but not exchanged, we will not have confirmation that they have been exchanged till later today
- We've not had sufficent time to test the Mac version "multi-season"

Once we have exchange, as a gesture of goodwill I will be looking to open up the store to allow for pre-ordering (if this is possible) and offering a discount to Mac fans (since you guys have waited so patiently for this moment).

I appreciate this is not the news many Mac fans would have liked to have heard but I'd rather be honest here with the reasoning and I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.

I've been patiently waiting for all of a few hours, but I'll take a discount for waiting another week or two.
