Melky Cabrera ??

He has a hit in every game but 5 this season so far in the Majors.

Is he still being looked at as a fill-in for now or could there be something more?

Could he be a Robinson Cano like deal this year as Cano was last season ?

Melky will be starting the majority of the rest of the season. He's a light hitting, high Avg. type of guy...who may develop enough speed to steal 20. I dont know how much power he can ever develop though.

How do you guys feel he'll do in the future?

He could be as a real sleeper in deep leagues. Unless of course you need power numbers.

Along with Robinson Cano, he is the future of the Yankees. Because of him, Sheff aint coming back next season.

His swing is a virtually identical to Garret Anderson... It's uncanny. My guess is, the power will grow over time. He'll never be a Giambi, but I can see 30 homers in his prime years.
