first u admit u got Giambi for Lowell
And u got Sheff for Pierre
I though the managers in ure league were uber smart
Nah its ok, ur good at what u do making deals like that, but im surpried it was that easy
Both of those trades were in different leagues. I play in 5 of them this year.
It's easy as long as you convince the other guy that you have what he needs. Not many people have Pierre. Only 1 per league. How many points would you gain if you had him? Pretty easy to get very good offers for him. As far as Lowell, part of that was a little lucky. The guy that I traded him to had Ensberg at 3B and didn't know how to find out ahead of time if he was playing or not. Plus he already had Helton. I convinced him that my Lowell, who is having a career year would fill that hole at 3B and he could use one of his backup hitters in his utility hole. That would solve all his problems.

He went for it, what can I say?

I went for Helton first and that made it a little easier for him to deal Giambi.
All in all, I usually come out fairly well in trades. The jury is still out on Soriano (got him about 6 weeks ago), we'll see how that turns out.
