Left the game Monday with a tight right knee. Phillips said something to the effect that we shouldn't be 'surprised' if he's in the lineup Tuesday. A more vague statement, I cannot imagine. Does anybody know any more than this? I can't wait for the official lineups to be posted because the Reds don't play until 8 and my entire lineup locks before the first game of the night at 7.

interesting. i thought he might be sidelined for a week or so, opening up the door for freel. guess that won't happen.

Will be interesting to see If Phillips playing time takes a hit from Freel and Aurilia as the season progresses...... Seems like a constant game of musical chairs could be comin. Hope not though.

I highly, highly doubt that...Phillips is by far the best all around player of that bunch, and he'll get his full time job back as soon as he is ready to go.
