at least it's the yankees that are tattooing him....look on the bright side, he has 2 support runs from his teammates already! (so that probably means don't count on any more until his next start).

If you've lost confidence in him, you can probably still get decent trade value for him at this point. You probably won't get top 5 starter value that you would have before the season, but you still might be able to swap him for Hudson or Mulder or maybe a guy like Randy Wolf.

Unless you're in a 2 team league, you can't drop him.

zito's curve isn't breaking today. whether that's an indication of overuse, just a bad day, or a mediocre season, i have no clue, but he is seriously relying on only fastballs today. that's a horrible way to pitch, when your fastball maxes at 91mph with no great movement. zito's forte is the curve, and it's his best pitch by far. if he hasn't gotten that over consistantly this year, he's in for a mediocre season

I to was sick of him either pitching 7,8 innings of shutout ball and getting a ND or him gettnig 6 runs support and then he decides to have a bad day and get the loss still. I gave him up 2 wks ago, maybe less for Chipper,Miller. I still got really good value i feel. You may just want to be done with him and not worry about the headaches either him or Oak will give you when he pitches. I know i'm glad i did.. no matter how many negative pts Miller got me vs Atl the other day.
