Kazuhisa Ishii - S - Los Angeles Dodgers Aug 2

Dodgers placed LHP Kazuhisa Ishii on the 15-day disabled list with a sprained MCL in his left knee.
Ishii had been scheduled to start Sunday. Wilson Alvarez worked in relief of Hideo Nomo yesterday, so it could be Victor Alvarez who starts Sunday.

oh well, at least he won't blow up on his next start and kill my ERA/WHIP like he's been doing.

hopefully this will teach him to NOT WALK PEOPLE.. and more important NOT WALK PEOPLE. Seriously, he's so solid minus the walk-a-thon that occurs every fifth day when the dodgers play (and he pitches).

anyone know if this is serious? ie, will he only miss 1-2 starts?
