Pierre was my most valuable trading commodity on July 31.

Second through six place in SBs is so close in my League that I could have vaulted the sixth place guy four spots had I accepted his trade offers (provided Pierre stays healthy).

As SBs are usually tight categories. Pierre is one of a handful of players that can singlehandidly guarantee a 1-3 finish.

I think Ichiro is a spectacular ballplayer. I'd take him a real team over Pierre in a heartbeat. But in a Fanstasy League, I'd go with Pierre.

I agree Ousmagic but this late in the season the average will only move a couple of points in either direction. Their runs are pretty much the same (Ichiro leads by 8) and will probally stay even.
Now the steals are different, Pierre should keep racking them up the rest of the season. GSes could move up the steals cat fast if he's behind the leaders. I'd say if he's 10 or so behind he could win the cat. imo

Both are about the same depends on the needs. Pick Pierre if you only need the steals, pick Ichiro if you need some steals and average.
