A lot of Brewers fans around?

Postby mcqfesijiba » Sat Aug 02, 2003 12:29 pm

Not really a Brewers fan myself, but I do relate them to being like the Detroit Tigers (my local team) of the National League. So, Brewers fans, you like the future outlook for your team? Posednik's had a surprising season. Sexson has had another good season. Jenkins has had a very fine comeback year. And of course Ben Sheets has really shown some ace potential.

As a 2nd-generation Brewers fan (family from Milwaukee), I would say the future of the team rests squarely on the shoulders of the management. Will they sign more Jeffrey Hammondses? Or will they find more Richie Sexsonses? My guess is the former as long as the Selig name is attached to the franchise.
Did you know there are no such things as "white" or "black" people?

to the first sentence...ouch...

i'm not a brewers fan per se, but i have nothing against them. sexson can hit 50 HR. podsednik, i don't think he can hit .300 again, but his steals are a lock. jenkins has been surprisingly good, and kolb showed some potential as the stopper. sheets has great stuff, could be an ace of a good team in the future. ;-D
