1- Jeter
2- B Williams
3- Giambi
4,5,6,7,8,9- (random inserts)
Ideal Roster:
1- Jeter
2- B Williams
3- Giambi (he should ALWAYS bat no. 3)
4- Soriano (true cleanup hitter, low OBP but good power)
5- Boone
6- Posada
7- Matsui
8- Sierra
9- Johnson (or other DH)
Posada and Boone could be reversed since Posada is a switch hitter
First three spots should have highest OBP... look at toronto with high OBP at the top of the lineup, they are a high scoring team.
The key to Fantasy Sports is NOT about Sports but rather the "manipulation of numbers" in your favor
I play Blues guitar and actually bought the Williams album as a curio ... he's a very solid guitarist. He probably could have had a career as a sideman if he had the time and energy to pursue it. His choice of material and the too-silky-for-my-taste, lounge act arrangements are another matter, but the album is a solid double.
If he goes 4/5 with a SB every night, I'd buy his album even if he played nothing but Metallica songs on an Accordian.
as with his music, he needs timing and it seems to be coming around. he was out over a month, give him a break. He won a batting title for crying out loud.
Matsui should definitely be batting 5th cause the guy drives in runs like it's goin out of style. After that you put Boone or Posada to hit a dinger and drive him in.

Metallica on an accordian? Hmmm. I do own S&M where Metallica played with the San Franciso Symphany Orchestra, and it turned out to be very good. I think an accordian might be pushing it though.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
You ever have a girlfriend that your parents just loved to pieces, but you weren't really all that into... that's how I feel about Bernie... I'm not really into him, but I can't let go...
btw, did anyone see the ESPN piece by Kenny Mayne awhile back that spoofed Bernie's music career... they had Giambi on saying that he didn't get any respect as a "triangle player"... and then he'd *ding* a little metal triangle... it really was priceless... Giambi should be nomiated for an emmy... hehe

That was one of the funniest spoofs I have ever seen...Giambi playing "Stairway to Heaven" on the triangle....LOL....
