I see Bernie Williams (.218, 1 2b 0HR. 282 OBP in last 30 Days.) just cut a Blues guitar CD.
It's nice to see that he has a second revenue stream. Not sure how long a .260 singles hitter is going to hold his own in the middle of the Yankees lineup.
Juan Pierre has shown more power -- and a hell of a lot more speed -- than Williams.
I literally couldn't give the poor guy away on July 31, and I would have because for some reason he has undroppable status in my League. I left him on the bench holding one of my 2 valuable reserve spots while he nursed his injury.
Anybody else stuck with this Lemon. Are you holding tight or cutting your losses?
just give him some time.... remember, this is the guy who hit clutch homeruns during so many postseasons. he should succeed. just keep him on your bench until he starts to heat up.

Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

That would be great if fantasy leagues actually counted postseason stats!!
"One of the teams represents truth, justice, the American way, and underdogs everywhere. The other represents George Steinbrenner!" - U.S. News and World Reports columnist John Leo on the difference between the Mets and the Yankees.
Bernie has had good second halfs in the past. He'll be back.

bernie should be fine. hitting cleanup (or i guess wherever torre feels like it now that he is shaking the order up a bit) in that lineup basically hands you RBI and runs and he will find his stroke soon enough. maybe he should stop listening to his own music before games, it might be putting him to sleep.

3/4 with a home run. Maybe he's starting to wake up.
