With the Astros outfield not producing, do you think Pence will get a call up this season? He couldn't do any worse than Jason Lane. Luke Scott is hitting for power in AAA, but I'd like to see Pence get a shot at the big club.

Next year for sure...Astros will cut loose Preston and his huge salary...Lane will get traded I predict ...Pence will get A TASTE THIS YEAR and have a chance to start in 07.

What are the Astros planning to do with Luke Scott and Charlton Jimerson?? Surely both will get a shot before Pence does?

I don't know what their plans would be but they defiantly aren't quarenteed a shot over Pence. Luke Scott is 27 this year in AAA, looks more like a util/4th OF kind of guy. As for Charlton will I can't take anyone serious who is 25/26 in AAA and has 86 k's in 224 AB's w/ only 8 walks. They just aren't in the same league as Pence is are far as prospects go.
