im still waiting for something official about edmonds, but its getting harder and harder to keep him when guys like winn,floyd,granderson and byrnes are out there.
Will St. Louis PLEASE put Edmonds on the DL. I've been waiting all week so I can p/u some other outfielder. I'm not going to drop him, but his productions stinks and I need to DL him so maybe there's someone else I can get. Now we got to wait the weekend? What's up with that!

My assumption now is that they're waiting to DL Edmonds until they activate Carpenter next week. I haven't seen any articles/news items to that effect but it makes sense.
Now since Pujols is down do you think the Cards would DL both players? Edmonds said he can hit and stuff, but it hurts when he runs, so why not play him at first?

Just read that Edmonds will be at 1B today and batting cleanup. LaRussa announced it on his radio show this morning on KTRS. This is according to a couple of threads at the Cards Talk forum at the Post Dispatch site.... I haven't found anything more official.
