New life for Freel?

Phillips left today's game with a 'tight' hamstring. Stay tuned.

For what it's worth, Freel came in and went 1-for-2 with a double that should have been a HR except for a blown call by the umps.
That's 3-for-6 over the last two days with two 'homers'.

I know.. I always thought Freel is good enough to be a full timer anywhere else. Well even there. You know what I mean.

Am I right on this?

Is it me, or does everytime Freel plays, he contributes, and gets something done. Whether it's steals, great defense, or with the bat, or just finding a way to get on base. I can't say I see many CIN games..

But to me, and from what I see stats wise on fantasy. He seems worthy of a starting job SOMEWHERE.

Am I correct on this.. or do I just see his stats on the good days only?
