However, it does look like a Communist message board with everything uniform and no more random rants or vents.

Im ready to donate my paycheck to the commune.

LOL, I agree, I miss the excitement of coming here and seeing some of the crazy thread titles but also agree that the uniform thing is easier to find and more clean (better for searching). I can't complain either way, I love this forum :-)

CadensDad, I didn't move your thread but when one of your threads is moved out of Game Commentary don't take it as an insult. The mod who moved it thought that the thread had too much substance to be in the GC slush pile. They left a link behind so people would be aware of it.

My last big post I did called "Braves Vent" was moved to the braves section. I PM'ed Mookie and asked where I should post it and he said if I worked on it and it wasn't just a quick post to post it here. So I did the next day it was moved. I didnt take it as a insult as much as just trying to keep the place cleaned up.

I like the commentaries for each game as a sticky, that way there isn't 30 threads per day of commentary. but I've seen a few other "vents" get moved lately. I enjoyed this part of the fourms alot more when there was more venting and praising. Seems now 2/3rd of them get moved inside game commentary and then the enxt day you never see it again b/c you are on to the next game.

I'm not fussing or crying here. Just wanted you to see it from my eyes. Not sure if others agree with me but oh well. The stickys are great though. I really like it and it helps me find whichever thread I am looking for alot easier.

i liked the old way better

less popular games went to the bottom

popular ones stayed on top

easier to find vents about guys..

rather than going through the whole thread to try to find somethin..

oh well..

Me too. I always enjoyed the random rants, but it seems they are not as frequent. With 15 threads on top, they dont get enough views/posts.

The old way was also an effective way of figuring out who was having a good night and who was letting people down just by reading the thread titles. Over time it was also a good way of identifying who was having good years in general, judging by how many people were cheering or pissed off.

The new way is much less effective at that.
