Do you think any team is gonna take a flier on him and what kind of end of the year totals do you think he would put up?

Also is there a certain time period after the Angels have released him that teams have to wait to sign him? Because I would have thought he would have already been snatched up, but if there is a time period that would explain it.

the cards will definetly pick him up. either way, he goes to a good pitchers park, the braves need him for the postseason, the cards need him just to get in. I would say he's going to st louis. woody's gonna get injured soon and they will need him.

Yes, Appier will be picked up. I'd say Atl, St. Louis, KC, and believe it or not the Reds, all could use him. I don't think he will be out there very long.

Tony LaRussa and the Cards have said they have no interest in Kevin Appier. St. Louis will not pick him up.

Rumored Atl was looking to pick up former Brave Kent Mecker and Appier wasnt on their wish list. I dont think Appier will be anything more than a guy who gives his next team innings. Give some bullpens some rest. I wouldnt pick him up unless he became a Brave and possibly did ok. But that possiblity is VERY slim.

yeah. latest I've heard is KC and that's also where his home is. he's definitely not fantasy worthy right now, though
