back to the pot calling the kettle black. you are doing the same exact thing, just with far less evidence to support what you say. well actually zero evidence.
You guys are accusing Bonds of something without any hard facts. All you've presented is hearsay from some book that two SF journalists with a grudge against Bonds have printed.
So we played along. You want to call Bonds a cheater? Ok. Well Babe is a cheater too. Hammerin' Hank was a lousy cheater as well.
And what do you do? You jump out of your shoes to defend Babe and Hank. Not Bonds though. Bonds is a dirty cheat.
Oh...and Hank Aaron admitting he used greenies is 'zero evidence'? Perry admitting that he doctored baseballs is 'zero evidence'? Multiple sources reporting that Babe used trick bats is 'zero evidence'?

Maybe you cant tell from my posts but i am not taking any certain bias as to whether Ruth cheated or not, i am just trying to prove a point. I am not calling out Ruth as a cheater and trying to get him taken out of the hall of fame or some BS like that, I am showing a comparison of someone who did something that now is considered against the rules of baseball, before the policy was implemented. The certain situations between Ruth and Bonds are essentially the same thing, that is what my ultimatum boils down too.
Exactly. We aren't trying to punish Ruth, like you are Bonds. We are trying to prove a point to you; the utter hypocrisy in your argument. You are ready to throw Bonds under a train for being an 'alleged' cheater but you fight tooth and nail to defend the historic Babe Ruth when we show some evidence that might suggest he was also a cheater...

well i use a little thing in my head called common sense to put these two instances into place.
one guy used a bat in the early days of the game wasnt outlawed. exactly like a football player tackling from the neck up back in the day. no one calls dick butkus a cheater for tackling from the neck up do they?
the other guy used a drug that impacted his performance on the field and was illegal in the united stats.

And what's your Bonds evidence? Irod clad?
What's funny (and now I will have to find it), is that Ruth was quoted all over the place complaining about the commish making the Crawford bat illegal. That's so Ruth.... talk about using common sense Miner.

That's so far beyond common sense it's not even funny.
In fact, it's closer to 'no sense.'
It doesn't matter if steroids were illegal under U.S. Law. Then all you can do to Bonds is throw him in jail. It doesn't make him a cheater in baseball.
How can you be a cheater in baseball while doing something that was not against baseball's rules? You can surely do something illegal and be thrown in jail for it. But if it's not against MLB's rules, you are NOT A CHEATER IN THE MLB.

Your post has no relevance to your claim that Bonds "cheated". Sure he may be a criminal under U.S Law, pay the fine for use of a schedule III drug, and if you think that his records should be removed from the books because he is a "criminal" then we get into a whole another story of everyone else in the MLB whoever smoked marijuna, did heroin, got a speeding ticket, a DUI, spent a night in jail, etc.
The Mets will win the World Series this year.

wow he complained because he had a legal advantage taken from him. what is your point?
