just wodnering how long he is out for. i think i heard day-to-day for somewhere but not sure

He walked as a pinch hitter last night, and word is he wanted in the starting lineup.

Good news - if it looks like a DL stint is even a possibility, players generally do not pinch hit. Garner is being cautious with his #1 offensive weapon, and rightly so.

He could be in the starting lineup today, if not, tommorrow. All the indications are that it isn't a serious problem. Now lets just hope they keep him out of the outfield for the love of $@$@.
