Since you are new you should learn this well, Yahoo never ever has a method to their chaos of adding players. They add them when they add them, there really is no point in talking about it ... though it is usually a few days after their first start.
Oh yeah and your the first.

I have an idea that in most leagues, certainly public ones, he will go on waivers for two days, so the date he becomes available is actually when he clears waivers. If your league is on the ball, and you really want him, put in a waiver claim. If your league is usually asleep, wait. (Some leagues are just figuring out who Verlander, Bill Hall and Youkilis are....)

He'll probably come off waivers just in time for you to miss his second excellent start and then you can start him for his 3rd start when he implodes

I'm too lazy to make a sig at the moment

Or he'll come off waivers right after his 2nd brilliant start so fantasy noobs with a better waiver than you will add him

Exactly why I cannot stand yahoo. Maybe he will get shelled and then those who still have faith have a better shot at grabbing him. Not managers who drop Derek Lee etc.
