Teixeria...Trade him, drop him or stick with him??

Postby tjasinto2 » Sat May 27, 2006 11:25 pm

Need some opinions on him. Could this be more than a slump? It seems as if when he gets close to picking it up again he doesn't. Is he killing your team? I benched him this weekend and put Feliz in 1B.

I'm wondering how many of you are thining of dropping him or holding on to him. And if I do drop him then how much is he still actually worth right now?

I'm in a 12 team h2h Yahoo standard scoring league..

Thanks

2B-Vidro, Weeks

OF's- Rios, C.Patterson, Jenkins, Feliz

RP's Papelbon, Otsuka, Coffey, Walker

Why on earth would you drop Teix? Stick with the guy...he'll come around.

If you knew anything about fantasy baseball you would obviously drop him for Thames.

Thames is definitely a good call. Is Tony Graffanino available? If so, I would strongly consider dropping Tex for him.

you posted in the wrong forum, but i would stick with him. he's much too valuable to drop and if you trade him, you're not going to get proper value in return. he'll heat up next month.

See what Jason Bay is doing the last few weeks??...Texeria will be doing the same soon...if you were in my league, I would advise you to drop him....since you are not...I will highly advise you to NOT do it.

General rule of thumb...if you drafted a guy in the first round, and now you're sick of the sight of him...think trade, never drop. But be patient is the best advice. A little bench time might get his attention, though....
