I have Duchscherer as well, and read this on Friday.

Update: Duchscherer (elbow) continues to feel pain when doing simple wrist-strengthening exercises according to the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Recommendation: His rehab progress has basically stalled out before it even began; at this point, a return after the All-Star Break seems likely.

I am in a holds-rewarding league as well, and was able to replace him with Justin Spier out of Toronto. You might want to look into him. He's got REAL good stuff, originally supposed to be the closer befor Ryan was signed. If you want, post some of the relievers on your WW and I'll take a look, and give you some advice.

Cherrys, in regards to Wise or Wainwright, I would go with Wise. He's got solid numbers (2.95 ERA and a near 7 K/9) he'll probably get more innings in than Wainwright, I'd almost call it a wash, both are solid but, if I was to pick one, it would be Wise.

Team Deveraux, in regards to your post, I'd pick up Qualls. Solid team, solid numbers, good pickup. I have him on my team myself, so that's who I'd suggest for you.

Hope that this helps both of you out.

On the A's telecast tonight they were discussing Jay Witasick being down in Arizona and soon making a rehab appearace. They also mentioned that Witasick had said Duchscherer was down there throwing now. That was good news to hear there even though it may be a little while still until he's back, at least they've figured out what's wrong and he feels good enough to throw again.
