Is playing the one team that has that one guy who is going absolutely bananas. I am playing a guy that has Manny. In 3 nights, he had 4 homers and 10 rbi's. He is single-handedly keeping him in the game.
I still enjoy HTH over Roto, but the fact that all your opponent needs is the one guy to go bananas and your week can be sunk really sucks.
Our league hated that fact too: That if you team does decent in a given week but you play a team with one or two guys that really tears it up to put up mondo points, and you end up with a loss.
That's why we started making each team play three total games a week. This puts more of a "baseball feel" because your team will have about 70 total games by the time the season is over and the teams that actually deserve the acclaides (instead of being eliminated by the hard luck losses) are in the runnings for the championship.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

it sucks, but you also could have that guy, so it balances out
btw, amazing use of bananas as an adj
I'm playing the guy in my H2H league that has Manny too.. .....but I have Crawford . In the long run, all teams have their players go through hot and cold streaks. You just have to ride it out...except when you have Tru on your team.
I could be wrong in what I'm saying but I'll be dead before I realize it.
