Well, cockiness can be both an asset and a liability and in Burrell's case, his cockiness is working against him this year. Mike Schmidt, a Hall-of-Famer, offered to help him with his mechanics but Burrell refused. Then he had the nerve to say there'd be "problems" if he got sent down to AAA. So what -- let him get mad, maybe it's the kick in the a*s he needs. Send the primadonna down, let him work on his hitting and then bring him back when he shows improvement. He's dragging the Phils down with his "me" attitude, not to mention his crappy year so far. The fact the Phils have done nothing to address the situation really makes me mad, too.

Don't get me wrong, Burrell is far from the only problem the Phils have this year but he's bleeding this team to death.

Konerko - big flop
Kearns - started on fire, not really a flop

ZITO is a flop!!! and I love this guy

Konerko is starting to catch fire as of late though. He hit another HR last night.

barry zito, i know he has a nice era but i expected 20 wins and right now he's 8-8 and he hasnt even gotten hurt

What about Vlad? Did anyone expect 12 HRs and 5 steals at this point in the season? I think most people expected 25 and 20.

I wouldn't consider it a flop if a guy gets injured, because at least you can put him on the DL and get a replacement.

It's worse if a guy is going 0-4 every night or ERA 5+. Speaking about Roto of course.

My flop is Oswalt, because when he HAS pitched, he hasn't dominated like I would expect from my first SP pick.

and Green has played the entire season
