I'm going to go out on a limb and say A-Rod. When we drafted him first or second overall, we didn't expect the guy who hit 57 HR and knocked in 142 runs last year to have around 25 and 80 weeks after the All-Star break, and that on top of an average that's now hovering around .285. 11 steals are a bonus, but in terms of price/performance, and excusing injuries, Alex Rodriguez has been a pretty big flop.
It has to be Randy Johnson. I picked him #3 overall in draft expecting a huge year. It is August 1st and he has given me exactly ONE WIN. Has anyone gotten less output from the first round draft choice than this?

My numbers were actually a bit off ... He's hitting .295, but he only has 69 RBI. That puts him on pace for around 39/110 I think. I used my #1 pick excpecting 50/140 -- in other words I paid for A-Rod and got Brian Giles.
but Randy didn't FLOP. He got injured. Still sucks though, I have both A-rod AND Randy in my keeper league...figured I would be top three easily even with an average draft. Here I am in 7th place.
Of course the following other players I drafted in my all-bust team didn't help either
Koch - flop
Colon - mini-flop
Konerko - flop
Durham - flop
Giles - mini-flop
Benitez - ok turned flop
F. Garcia - flop
Kearns - flop
Weaver - flop
Crede - flop
Radke - flop
D. Moss - flop
S. Stewart - flop
well at least arod and randy have done something i drafted burrell in the fourth round expecting sooo many things from him, i mean thome was comin to town, abreu was supposed to go 30-30 and now this. geez half of my outfield is from waivers. kevin millar and carlos lee are frickin life savers. when i heard baines say burrell was gonna rebound cause hes so damn cocky, i was psyched but now i feel outraged and insulted and humiliated, and violated and fu-, well, maybe not violated, but im still pretty pissed and thats the point.
I am surprised nobody has mentioned the houston duo, oswalt and miller, everyone was expecting SOO many things from these two, and they have produced trash, everyone keeps waiting for them to do something and they have done nothing. Condsidering Oswalt was a early #2 round pick is most leagues, and what he has done, I think he is quite a flop
