I don't think Bobby Cox has decided on an actual closer. He'll probably go with the best matchup for each situation.

today ray pitched a scoreless 8th then rietsma pitched 2/3 of the ninth, gave up a hit and remlinger came in and got the last out for the save.

Seems like it is very unsettled, but Ray has been good all season and Id love to see him get a shot. Reitsma has shown he cant do it and remlinger shouldnt get a shot

At this point Ray looks like the best of the bunch but all it takes is one 3-run inning for him to look like crap as well.

he got the save again. He has a 1.44 ERA with 2/2 on saves i don't see why they arent going to him. Reitsma obviously cant handle it and Villareal doesnt have the stuff.

Cox isn't going to announce a change anytime soon, probably looking at matchups and giving both Ray and Reitsma chances. But in the end, I would put my money on Ray being the closer by the All-Star Break.
