Agreed. Thome is definitely AL MVP so far. Without him, I doubt we would still consider the White Sox the best team in baseball even though they're defending champs. He's carried that team.

Griffey and Giambi won it last year. Are you saying those guys weren't fully proven at this level?

Not biased at all. I live in SC.
They are pretty much apples & oranges since Hanley is a R/SB/AVG guy, while Prince is a power hitter. That said, they have about the same average, Prince naturally has more power. Prince has a better OPS and has helped his team win more.
