is it time to pick up konerko? i drafted him after nen and burrell. pretty bad but then i traded him away and the manager dumped him a few weeks ago. who should i drop for him?

I would dump Eric Byrnes for Paulie. Byres has hit the crapper the last few weeks, and will not figure into the Oakland outfield as much since the acquisition of Jose Guillen. Ride Konerko while the Sox are hot, and hope that he picks up his form from last year.
I believe I have everything to do with Konerko's recent surge. I drafted him and suffered through his crap performance all the way til right after the All Star. Now that he's off my pathetic team, he's obviously been able to see the ball and hit his HR's.
I would dump Burrell and Byrnes. Burrell needs to go to AAA to work on his swing or sit down with Schmidt and figure out what he is doing wrong this year. I also had Burrell and Konerko and just picked up Konerko right before the break and immediately put him in the lineup after the break
Byrnes is done especially with the Guillen acquisition, he'll probably be platooning with someone since he's been cold as ice of late. Sure did hit the wall hard. Who else is available on the wire?

If you have the room for another pitcher, pick up Jerome Williams. There's no reason why he should stillbe on the waiver wire in any league!

Man he is really tempting!! But I don't know if I can place Konerko in my UT spot over Hatsui or Hidalgo. I can't place him in my 1B slot because that belongs solely to Giambi. Maybe I should just stash him so my opponents can't grab him?
