McCann not activated tonight, any word ?

Heard he played two rehab games with Rome, and was supposed to be activated tonight... set backs?

I could be mistaken, but I don't think it was a given that he would be activated today. I think the deal was that he would return to the team today and might get some playing time on the weekend against the Astros. I still get the impression from what I read that he isn't quite 100% yet.

They are saying now that he is more likely to return Tuesday vs. Florida. The ankle is progressing, but have to think him being behind the plate all night is straining to the ankle. I am concerned he tweaks it again on the bases or in the field, it isnt going to heal 100% for a few more weeks

Oh God, I dropped my replacement catcher in anticipation of him playing tonight.

Sorry. That cutting it a bit close dont you think? I have him in a couple of league and I aint cutting my backup catcher until I know he's back.

My back up was Lo Duca... who has been sucking but Pierzynski was just dropped, so l may grab him.
