As long as Hanley refrains from lugging deer carcasses around he should be fine. ;-)

Papelbon and Ramirez, I think its a no brainer at this point.

Papelbon has been the BEST CLOSER in the league period. At this point , if the best closer in the league doesn't win the ROY, its total bullcrap.

It's only the end of May, folks. Remember last year, everyone was ready to crown Jeff Francoeur, and then Ryan Howard arrived...

There is a quality third basemen in Washington who is very quietly doing pretty well-showing steady improvement as the year goes on. He may have something to say about the NL ROY before this season is up. His name is Zimmerman.....

And, oh by the way, there is a pitcher in Minnesota who has provided a jump-start to his team, has won his first two starts, been lights out in the era/K department. His name is Liriano.

My sleeper pick for NL ROY is Zimmerman. Of course, right now the mini-season award goes to Hanley, with the Prince a close second. If Hamels can get and stay healthy, he could have something to say as well. Let's not forget about Barfield in SD.

The AL ROY race seems to be real exciting. Right now it's Paps, but right behind him is Verlander, and quietly smokin' behind Verlander is Mr. Liriano.
