What's the deal with this guy? I am in a 20 team keeper league and have heard nothing but good things about kendry. Is he worth a pickup? Will he get consistant playing time going forward? Thanks.

At this point the Angels seem to be in a lot of trouble. I would bring all of the young guys up (Morales, Kendrick, Weaver, Aybar as a stopgap for Wood) and say trial by fire. The sooner they get them up here and experienced the sooner they can build a team around Vlad.

yes i would get him he is considered one of thier top three prospects(i like Kendrick the best with a 387 ba in AAA i think) He does have a future and the kid can hit. I see him being picked up in some 12 team one year leagues so for a keeper i would grab him immidiatly.

Thanks for the input so far. Based on these 2 responses, I am leaning towards picking him up, but would like to see what some others have to say. Thanks

I don't know how many keepers you league keeps, but 20 teams means someone is starting a Gibbons/Overbay/Nady type of 1B. or worse.
I am pretty high on Morales...he has made adjustments at every level of competition, and then proceeded to hit something like a .300/30/100 pace. a lot of scouts are kind of iffy on Cuban prospects (I don't think BA even had him in their top 50), but he has progressed nicely through the Angels system.
