It's a definite concern... He typically starts off hot and tails off, so this isn't a good sign. Unless you gotta real good cheap wire option though, I'd stick it ought a while. If he can get even warm, he'll put up great RBI #s in that lineup.

Juat looking at his splits, the problem seems to be, he's not hitting lefties like he used to. Hitting lefties used to be his bread and butter.

I dropped him for McCann a few weeks ago and was very happy with the results - until McCann recently got injured.

I was lucky enough to pick up Estrada (12-team, 5x5 roto) and he immediately began producing.

Now McCann's getting ready to come back and I'm undecided on which catcher to drop :-o :-o :-o :-o

He is tied for second in RUNS scored over the last month for all catchers. He is #8 in RBI's. All this while slumping and hitting for a poor average. His power numbers have out-produced Irod and V-mart over the last month. What do you want?

he hit .296 in 2004 and .281 last year and this year he's pretty much batting his weight, and he doesn't weigh almost 300 pounds. i like him and he's a good catcher but i watch him every night and he just looks lost, chasing pitches in the dirt. his last double was on may 4.
