Brad Wilkerson?

He didnt play yesterday becaues he was nursing a wrist injury. Do you think I should bench him and play Dave Roberts in the interrum? Roberts has nicer numbers against Suppan than (3-6 with a @B adn 2 SBs) than Wilkerson against Blanton (2-8). Play it safe? WHIR!

nothing to be concerned about, he's sitting vs lefties right now as a way to get derosa's bat in the lineup and to give him rest, mench was out of the lineup last night.

rentz or other Ranger fans, you don't think this will become a straight platoon situation with derosa?

as long as derosa has a hot bat, buck showalter will get him in the lineup....most likely giving lefties a day off vs lefty pitchers, giving young a rest here or there, etc.

its not really a platoon....he has a "sore" wrist, played well last night vs a righty, theyre just trying to give guys nights off while keeping derosa in the lineup.

not a platoon, derosa will fill in for all infield positions, and the corner outfielders

Wilkerson has been awesome over the last month, I figured they were just giving him a rest because due to facing a left handed pitcher.

Wilkerson will be ok, but I do wonder where that sore wrist came from...
