Any idea on when you guys think he'll get the call? And when he does, what numbers do you realistically expect?

It will probably take an injury or a point where someone sucks it up. Most likely will happen at the All Star break or right after, as the pitching staff is looking pretty good at the moment. Not to mention it doesn't hurt to get him more experience in AAA, even if he has to pitch @ mini-coors in a hitters league.

I have 2nd priority waiver in my 12 team money league with ci/mi positions and marcus giles got dropped but I was hoping I could wait it out for billingly since i missed out on hamels......

Giles has been so horrible this year but do you think he'll pick it up? Or stick it out and wait for billingsly?

I don't think he gets called up any time soon. It will take an injury to one of the five starters or a meltdown by Sele Or Seo.

The Dodgers are engaged in serious discussions about promoting hard-throwing right-handed pitcher Chad Billingsley to make his debut either Thursday against the Padres or Friday against the Athletics, a high-level source said. Some Dodgers officials are pleased by his recent progress in learning to change speeds and cut down on his pitch count, although not everyone in the front office is convinced Billingsley is ready. -- Los Angeles Times
