I began this thread with tongue firmly implanted in my right cheek. Just didn't use an emoticon.

I think it is a joke that the minor leaguers are being snagged like fish in a trolling net yet the big boys seem to be getting by. But I was seriously asking for a list of guilty minor leaguers because I was interested. Thanks Witty for the link.

:-S is the emoticon I should have used in my first, opening post.
My Friendliness bar...recently shrunk from 11.3 to 10mm long!!

I realize that the testing system is still not enough, and that most minor leaguers probably can't afford substances that go undetected, but one of the biggest reasons for more minor leaguers testing positive is that there are more minor leaguers than major leaguers. Shouldn't it then be reasoned that more minor leaguers would test positive?

If they manage to bust all the minor leaguers doing it, the game will be clean eventually. Or at least, as clean as any major sport is.

Meche was caught using steroids- wasnt it franklin?

Also, whoever said Pujols is on illegal steroids is most probably wrong

That's understandable considering Seattle's pitching rotation for most of the year in 2005.

my question is whether it's a result of major leaguers having access to the better (read undetectable) stuff as compared to the minor leaguers using the OTC Steroid brands...
