Greenie was always an entertaining dude when he was with Boston. Good hitter too, career-near-.300 with some power. Scary LF though...

I always enjoyed him as a player, was always good for an interesting soundbite after a game.

My alltime favorite Greenie moment, when he challenged Mo Vaughn to a fight during batting practice before a game in Anaheim. They tangled, and it took Jack Clark to deadlift Mo off of Greenie.

Good luck to him in NASCAR. He's a good egg.
