Honestly....Royals worst ever???

Postby Slow Pitch » Thu May 25, 2006 6:24 pm

They score 6 in the first & lose by 5. They gave up 8 runs in the 8th & 9th today.

They have nothing.......they are a joke.

Why dont they just call up Gordon, Butler, & whatever else they have in their farm system, it cant get any worse. They need to out right release half of thier roster. Grudz is about the only regular worth anything & that includes Sweeney.

Do they even have any good pitching prospects or are all their good minor league guys hitters...

Shame on you Kansas City you flat out suck!!

They are pretty pathetic.

Gordon and Butler will get their cup of coffee in September.

Sweeney is good when healthy, unfortunately he's not this year. Why not call up Gordon, Butler and co? Because we don't want to start the arbitration clock and frankly we don't want them to develope in a losing environment(at least not this bad)

Do they even have any good pitching prospects or are all their good minor league guys hitters...

J.P. Howell should be a decent mid rotation guy and Justin Huisman could be a decent Middle reliever, aside from that. No pitching.

Shame on you Kansas City you flat out suck!!

A little harsh. Emil Brown and Doug Meintzdfkslfai are legit major leaguers.
Let's go O's. Let's go Mets.

Its fairly obvious why they dont call up their prospects. If they did, the year would count towards the arbitration process and why waste a year of gordon and butler for less then a million to develop them at a slightly higher level. Let them hone their skills in the minor leagues and come up at the start of next year

He should be a .270 15 HR 75+ RBI guy. You could do worse as an outfielder in the bigs. Am I vastly overrating him?

I actually love Minny, as defensive backup ONLY. But those are only useful when you have a leave to protect. Doesn't happen much.
