Things like this is what is pushing me to start my own thing rather than work for "the man." Just graduated college and am going to take the risk and do what I can on my own. Hopefully it works out, if not, then there is no better time in a person's life to take the risk.

What do you do?
I work in radio as news director for a group of three stations. I do two half-hour newscasts plus an hour long talk show in the mornings, but I'm off air at 9am. I spend the rest of my day gathering news and audio to use the following day. But I wont have another newscast until Tuesday morning, so anything I got for today would be outdated by then anyway. No point in sticking around all day if I'm not going to be able to use any of my work next week anyway.
Days like this are the exception though, we had our primaries last week and on election day I was at work from 5am to almost 11pm, then back in at five the next day.
Color me jealous.
I work for the state government in Nebraska as an Investigator. Today my job is to answer all incoming calls and explain the discrimination law. It makes for a LOOOONG day, especially on the eve of a long weekend.
