I really hate Spying CIO's who are in the office 1 time every 3 weeks and yet find time in that 1 time to complain that he see's me surfing the internet when he walks by.

Of course our cube's are setup so that there is no privacy

Unfortunately for me I have to surf the internet because our programs take so long to load that I have nothing else to do. For example while stuff loads I could type basically this whole paragraph. I have to wait for a page to load that takes about 10 seconds. I have to wait for this page about 200 times a day.

Also, our CIO last week said that he doesn't care what we do and he knows by the numbers if we are slacking or not.

Of course my numbers are looking perfectly in tune with what they should be if not better.

Anyways Corporate america sucks. And you wonder why American's have the highest rate of Mental Disorders/Stress in the world.

No matter how hard/well you are working you are expected to work harder and better.

Yep, that's about the size of it. Seems like you work your butt off all day and someone will always walk in while you're surfing the web. :-°

I'd love to work in corporate america... I'd probably make a ton more money than I'm making working for the state of arizona.

But the Internet time is nice. :-)

No matter how much it starts to suck acs, just remember.. taking an uzi to work = bad.

Tru Dat. I don't like guns. If I did anything I'd probably just yell profanities at everyone and maybee poop on the floor

Reminds me of the movie Office Space.

I couldn't do it ACS, I couldn't work somewhere like that. I work in universities here in Australia.....talk about relaxed.

oh yeah, i work salary...so leaving early isnt a big deal, but it sucks when you have to spend 18 hours at an out of state plant, so it goes both ways
