He cracked his first homer today and is hitting around .400 through almost 70 ABs. Isn't he a crazy steals guy?
Would you say he had more upside than a Dave Roberts???
Basically I'm complicated.
I have a hard time taking the easy way
I wouldn't call it schizophrenia
But Ill be at least two people today
If that's OK
And I can go on, and on, and on...
But who cares?

As a Royals follower, I think they should just let German go. He's getting spotted PT and will probably get traded for rookie league trash talent to a team that will actually utilize his bat and speed.
They should trade him to the Marlins so they can put him at 3B and put Miggy in the OF.

He's only stolen 4 SB in 75 games/169 AB/189 PA in the majors.
He did once steal 78(8 CS!) in only 109 games when he was 21 years for Visalia in the California League.
Last year for Oklahoma AAA he stole 43 of 49 and batted .313.
Career 389 SB, 78 CS.
I'd say he's a good bet to steal more bases.

Yeah the problem with him is playing time. If he had consistent AB's he'll probably give you a good avg. and steals not much else. KC mind as well let him run, they only have 14 steals so far. Tough part would be finding a spot for him on my team.

The only thing holding German back is the Royals. Check out his minor league numbers. He has never been given a legit shot at playing full-time anywhere. He is currently hitting .378 with .467 OBP in 66 AB's and the Royals can't find time for him??? What a pathetic organization. They would rather throw Graffanino out there instead of developing a potential Chone Figgins-like player. He only has 1 steal also thanks to Buddy Bell. The guy runs like the wind. He also qualifies @ 2B, 3B, and OF in my league. I am still stashing him, hoping the Royals come to there senses and play him regularly.

German doesn't look comfortable anywhere else than 2B and he'll have NO time with the Royals as a 2B with Blanco and Gruz blocking him. If I'm making decisions for the Royals, I'd play him until Teahen is ready to be back up and then trade him for a playoff contender to be a Util PH/PR type for some prospect. The other solution is trade Gruz by the end of the year, German can't be any worse than Ruben Gotay with the glove right?
BTW: A's fans and Texas fans that knows him, can he play SS? I REALLY want to see Berroa sitting for a while.
Are you interested in joining a 28 teams dynasty league? If so, PM me.
