actually ive explained exact reasons for dusty not being loved in chicago.

you blame cubs fans for turning on sammy.
sammy was the most selfish player in the history of this city.

you say dusty is great because he has a high winning percentage.
then i guess jerry manual is jesus!

you say mariotti has pull in chicago or anywhere for that matter.
that's like me talking about your papers writers. you have no idea.

oh yea and keep up the swearing! it makes you soooo cool!! :-B :-t

Ok I just went and checked ..

thank you Retrosheet ..

The annually contending Chicago Cubs had exactly 5 'winning' seasons in 35 years prior to Dusty Baker coming to town ..

on the reverse, Dusty Baker had 6 winning seasons in a row, before signing with the Cubs. .. 6 ..
He then rattled off 2 more in Chicago for a total of 8 Winning seasons ... in a row ..

So its official.

Dusty Baker has had more winning seasons than the Cubs in the last 37 years.. lol ...

oh and yo should have seen some of those doosies of a roster that he was handed in SF ...

thank god you guys don't run a baseball team :-o :-o :-o

i love how "team 25" doesnt stick to points. always jumping from point to point to point. may as well name your club, "team filibuster".

Cubs fans...have you seen your lineup?

Juan Pierre, Matt Murton, Jacque Jones, Todd Walker, Neifi Perez, Ronny Cedeno, Michael Barrett, and a struggling Aramis Ramirez.

You expect that lineup to produce more than 18 wins at this point in the season?
