Sheff's wrist broken or not?

May 25 Mark Feinsand, of NewYork.Yankees.MLB.com, reports New York Yankees manager Joe Torre has dismissed reports that OF Gary Sheffield (hand) is playing with a broken hammate bone in his left hand.

There's obviously a lot of contradicting going on here. Who's got the real scoop?

well, i just traded him and Todd Jones for Oswalt. really need a SP, and while i'm not that worried about the wrist, i'm still worried about him getting injured
